Prep up for this great adventure, drive through Shillong, the beautiful hill station of Meghalaya amongst wispy clouds, after all it is known as “the Abode of Clouds”. Also don’t miss out on the living root-bridges which are a beauty to behold.

Take a chance to stop over at Guwahati, the city of Temples and explore its ancient history. Cross Dimapur, “The Brick City” which is also the largest city of Nagaland.

As you drive through the country roads, keep an eye out to watch Bagan Temples in the morning mist. Take a prayer walk at the lovely Pagoda. Spend some time with the monks at the beautiful temples in Mandalay.

As you travel further to the lovely mountainous city of Chiang Mai behold the vestiges of walls and moats from its ancient history. It is also home to hundreds of elaborate temples. You could also get lucky to experience the Lantern festival here.
